Awnings are an important part of most business outlets today for various reasons. Not just business but even homes make use of Awnings to control the amount of sun light and heat to make it a comfortable place to be.

You can choose the type based on what you wish to achieve. A think dark fabric might suit when you wish to make the place completely dark such as for viewing TV or use a light fabric when your intention is only to restrict the light and the heat. In cases where you are installing an Awning for a shop front, it might also be a good idea to use it for branding and advertising your products.
